I just recently finished directing this animation for HP and MTV through Strange Beast. For the illustrations I took influence from Heath Robinson’s brilliant book Contraptions but I wanted to create larger, more industrial machines that help the environment rather than hinder it. I then animated in After Effects with additional help from Ryan Brotherston who I’ve worked with previously on idents for E4 Music and Kerrang! TV.

This was another project were I had the opportunity to create the music and sound design. I always enjoy doing this and it helps me give the piece the exact tone that I’m looking for.
