The above illustration is my contribution to Adam Rowe’s TwittBrief Project. People use Twitter to send him a word which is then passed on to somebody else to create an A2 sized illustration. My word for the above piece was ‘Supernatural’.
I decided to digitally manipulate and then draw over an image from a magazine from 1960. I found it under the carpet in my house when we were redecorating. Below is the original image so you can see the starting point:
