Flying V
Thursday, August 26th, 2010I have been experimenting with creating some of my characters in 3D recently. Here is one of my characters the ‘Flying V’ that I commissioned the excellent model maker Eleanor Tomkins to make. It was an exciting process seeing my initial drawings form into a real object. Here is the completed model:



J20 “The Pub Quiz”
Friday, August 20th, 2010I designed and directed this commercial for the soft drink J20 through Strange Beast. It forms part of a ‘Pub Quiz’ campaign in the UK. Within the animation are clues to three films that forms the answer to the ‘Pub Quiz’ question. It is one of a series of four animated commercials, each one created by a different animation director.

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010Here is my latest Little Old Men canvas. It is the largest one I have done to date and took a lot of drawing to complete. I use red Sharpie pens and draw directly onto the canvas, starting with the bottom right hand corner and letting the city develop from there.

Monday, August 16th, 2010Here is an illustration of the characters from the film Trainspotting. These were made during the development of a commercial I just completed. The characters that I used in the commercial were completely different from these and ended up not being based on the Trainspotting gang. I’ll upload those characters tomorrow and the finished animation pretty soon.

Monday, July 5th, 2010I recently animated this spot for Tic Tac with the lovely people at Kazoo Creative. It was a fun spot to work on and the illustration drawn by Rotem Nahlieli were a pleasure to animate. The spot is promoting DJ Swerve and his passion for music and Cherry Passion Tic Tacs.
